Revised Brompton

Well, a revised Brompton website at least, at http://www.brompton.co.uk/ There is a better technical area with copious downloads, a more extensive history of the development of the bike, a 'My Brompton' section for registered Brompton owners and finally a publicly-accessible company email address (a rather puzzling omission previously).

More from Mezzo

Colour options were added to the Mezzo range earlier in 2007, and now the existing range of Black, Silver, Blue, Pink and Sand has been joined by Red. All the colours are achieved by annodising, so they should be resitant to scratches, chips etc. A new bike bag, which can be used to carry the folded bike, is also due to become available in December. It features a shoulder strap and carry handles, and folds in on itself when not in use. A new Rack Pack has been added, and the larger Commter Bag is being restyled. The Mezzo web site is at http://www.mezzobikes.com.

A satisfied customer

If you read the recent review of the Mezzo by Kristian Gustafson you will recall that he was very please with it, but did find that the seat post was inclined to descend in riding (a problem with some other makes of folder too). Shortly after the report was published here, we were contacted by Mezzo, who wanted to be put in touch with Dr Gustafson. As a result, they supplied him with a new seat post clamp, and he now reports:
"With the new seat clip now installed, I am happy to report that the seat stays where it ought to. Thanks to Mezzo for such great service."

'Pomms on Pushbikes'

We are pleased to be able to publish the second of Peter Wilson's reports, this one covering his visit to Australia - you can find it HERE.
