We are saddened to hear that Dr Alex Moulton has died. More details are on the Moulton Bicycle Company's website. Our sympathy is with his family, friends and colleagues.
Dr Moulton was the originator of the modern small wheeled bike in the 1960's, and pretty well all small wheeled bikes can trace some of their design lineage back to these icons. His fresh engineering viewpoint will be missed in our cycling world.
