Death of Phil Wray - a personal tribute

Apologies for this post - I can still post here, even though I would not do so now in other than exceptional circumstances, which these are.

Please see Paul Evans' previous post about the death of Phil Wray - I'm devastated to hear of this. He was such an important person in cycling, especially the history of cycling, cycles and through the V-CC. He was someone who contributed a lot - someone that I would feel privileged to call a friend, even if of late I have not been able to get to Folding Society Rides.

I have happy memories of taking part in many rides with him and Lorna. We are all much the poorer for his death, and condolences to the family.
